Our Services

Lionheart Support offers a wide range of services designed to meet the diverse needs of our clients:

• In-Home Care: We provide personalized in-home care services that are designed to help our clients live comfortably and independently in their own homes. Our team of caregivers is trained to assist with daily activities, personal care, and household tasks, all while fostering a sense of independence.
• Overnight Respite: Our respite care services offer a safe and nurturing environment where clients can enjoy a temporary break from their daily routines. Located in Highton, our beautiful respite facility provides a calm and enjoyable space where clients can relax, recharge, and have fun.
• Life Skills Development: We are passionate about helping our clients develop the skills they need to live independently. Our life skills programs cover a wide range of areas, including personal hygiene, cooking, budgeting, and car maintenance. We tailor our programs to meet the unique needs and goals of each client, ensuring that they gain the confidence and competence to thrive in their daily lives.
• Leather Apprenticeship Program: Unique to the Geelong region, our Leather Apprenticeship Program is designed to promote executive function and cognitive development through hands-on learning. Clients learn valuable skills in leather crafting, which not only fosters creativity but also helps in developing fine motor skills and enhancing cognitive abilities.

Meet Our Founders

Lionheart Support was founded by two passionate and dedicated individuals, Sam and Luke, who have devoted their lives to making a positive impact in the disability support sector. With years of hands-on experience, they have both worked tirelessly to create a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals with disabilities can thrive.

• Luke holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education and a Graduate Certificate in Disability and Inclusion. His extensive experience includes working as a therapeutic residential support worker and a community access support worker. Luke’s passion for teaching and his deep understanding of disability support have been instrumental in shaping the services offered at Lionheart Support.
• Sam is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s in Primary Teaching with a specialization in diverse learners. His experience in working with individuals with additional needs, both in a school setting and as a support worker, has given him a unique perspective on the challenges faced by people with disabilities. Sam’s commitment to fostering independence and his empathetic approach to care are central to the ethos of Lionheart Support.
